BCom in the field of Financial Sciences
The BCom in the field of Financial Sciences is a three-year degree that prepares students for the future of finance in the digital age by combining core financial disciplines, such as corporate finance, investments, and economics, with data science, coding, and financial technology (Fintech).
Overview
In the first year, students build strong foundations in mathematics, statistics, and computing; in the second year, they advance to courses in corporate finance, investment, financial modelling, and fintech; and in the third year, they specialise in computational finance, big data analytics, machine learning, and applied statistics. The programme equips graduates with both theoretical knowledge and practical technical skills, enabling them to analyse financial data, build models, and address complex challenges in modern finance.
